Spkrdctr
With the larger MLs, for home theater, there is no such thing as too much power. Go big, very big! Like I said, 400 watts per channel........
westcott
I recently auditioned the Martin Logans and although they sounded very good, they just did not have the depth of a cabinet speaker and talk about directional. People complain about horn loaded speakers but the electrostatics by ML are far more directional. Especially the center channel. I did not find this suitable for a home theater, but was quite appealing for two channel listening where one sweet spot is all you need. What impressed me most of all the ML speakers was the two subwoofers with position feedback servo control. The lack of distortion really impressed me and I would recommend the Depth and the larger model to anyone looking for a great subwoofer. Their looks are little on the plain side and no wood to speak of but they have small footprints and are very clean sounding. Send pictures once you have it all set up. I am sure many of us would like to see how you place them. Congratulations!
