kenratboy
OK - no flaming about Monster or any of that, there will be plenty of times and places [] Can anyone here who is familiar with Monster's M Series of cables tell me about them? I will be dealing with those products and would like some info. Good or bad, what is your experience with them? Thanks!
arthurs
I had some M2.2 SC's, really not a bad cable all in all, good tone, nice round bass. But I think you can do better at similar price points, new or used.
kenratboy
I will not be buying them, just need information about the cables themselves. Thanks for the info.
toddvj
M Series cables range from Middle of the road to High-End. What specifically are you wondering. Monster has a pretty informative website, too.
kenratboy
Well, for example, they one make one type of digital cables, how are those? For analog RCA's, they range from $50-300/2m. pair, in general, are they good for what they are? Just trying to get a general feel and vibe for their products. Are they 'better' than their regular stuff?
Tom Adams
I think their biggest advantage (to you at least) is their larger profit margin. [] [] [] Tom
kenratboy
Well, thats the case with EVERY cable company, even Blue Jeans and all those.
satchmo2go
I have purchased several of the RCA/component cables and the optical (tos link). I purchased most off ebay at reasonable prices. If you have a tweeter in your area check them out. They supposedly dropped the monster products so they are now selling "at a discounted price." I like them okay. I have only used monster and the real cheapo stuff that comes w/ the equipment. The connectors about rip my rca jacks out of my denon receiver though. Man do they fit snug. I love the tos link. It is spring loaded and the connector moves around the cable itself, so when connecting you don't have to twist the cable. I have not used any of their speaker cable.
