Best Way to wire up KSW-12

Hey guys I just purchased a KSW 12 and had heard of

different ways to wire it up my reciever. It has 2 sub

outputs. Now from what I understand these are not

right and left sub since a sub is mono but they are

just 2 sub outs so I know I run the 1 cable out of

the reciever but on my KSW-12 I have 2 inputs. I have

a L/LFE ( left ) and then a R ( right ) should I run

my cable from the right out to the sub out? or my left/

lfe to my sub out OR should I run 1 cable out of the

reciever and then to a Y to both inputs on the KSW-12

what are the benefits or whats the best way that will

give me the best sound. Heres a picture of what I mean.

Thanks,

Hey Daryl,

Wanna keep things simple, and cheap? Do this:

Forget your sub outputs on the Sony. Simply run some speaker wire of your choice from the main speaker terminals of the Sony to the Speaker inputs of the sub. Run equal lengths of speaker wire from the sub speaker term outs to your SB-3s. Dial in your crossover and volume to taste (start with 80-100 hz range). Done!

Be sure to set your sub to "no" or "off", and run mains "large", and center and rear "small". This will cut out the lows from your mains, and feed it to the sub where it belongs. You also won't have to deal with multiple crossover problems. Simple, smart, and great results.

I've tried everything with that KSW, and this method worked best for me. Don't be satisfied until you at least try it.

Good luck,

T-man
