jacksonbart
What are they replacing it with? Thought first this was a thread about a predecessor to C3P0.
colterphoto1
Well let's take a tally, there's basically 3 pair of LS, two extra bins, pair Hersey, and the 4 MWM sub bins, and the tweets. Lets call the LS at a grand each, extra bins 500, pair Heresy 500. That's $4000, so the $8000 BIN is like $800 per MWM bin and $200 ea for the tweet boxes. That's pretty reasonable if they're operational. They most certainly have no smoke damage or road use, so that's a plus. If I was close by and could like up buyers, I'd probably go for it just to have a pair of the MWM's. Michael
chops
That guy is only 50 miles from me! Just for fun, I'm trying to lowball him on one pair of Scalas just to see what he says, that is if the auction doesn't sell. Doesn't hurt to ask I aways say. colterphoto1
ohhh, those are the DOUBLE bass bins! This is looking better. I like the way he rigged the double split LS for flying! Interesting array to give better HF coverage. Michael
DrWho
Man you'd have to get a fricken box truck to haul all that stuff around...how hard would it be to make our own pair of the MWM bass bins? I'd love to have a pair in a PA rig someday...I could use a pair of wheelbarrows to move stuff around []
Daddy Dee
Well, based on usual Ebay market prices, what do you think these components would bring if sold off in pairs. I wouldn't think there would be many folks who would be interested in the whole lot.

Laughingkookaburra
Hi, I was wondering what you all thought about the price if they had sold separately, I figured about 6000 maybe more. Any thoughts? Thanks
colterphoto1
The current bid of $5000 works out to about: 600 per LS pair 200 per spare LS MH box 400 for HIP pair 550 per MWM box 75 per MTM box That is such a steal..... If they were closer they would be MINE!

Laughingkookaburra
I'm really glad to know that whoever owns them next got them for a good price. They really are remarkable and I've enjoyed them for a long time. I need to find another job now, 15 years job security and then 10 days notice before the place closed up. weep sigh. I do still own and will probably not sell a pair of mmtms, a pair of LS HF with the metal trim, kp-3002's, and four KSM floor wedges. I love Klipsch!!!!!! DrWho
...kp-3002's... Those were my first introduction into klipsch and I've been a fan ever since...tis very sad that they no longer build the PA gear.
colterphoto1
It's killing me that this system is going for so little. At $5000 the buyer would be able to split out whatever he wanted, mark it up about 25% without any problem at all. This stuff has never been on the road from the looks of it and therefore not abused like most systems of it's vintage. I think it should go for $6-7k, but lets' see if anyone chimes in here at the last minute. Some guy might get one heck of a deal! M
Laughingkookaburra
If anyone here should happen to win them (CP1) I live right near the airport and I would pick you up and drive you to the u-haul place and help you load this stuff up. Even if you can't come right away, they're safe at home for a week or two till you get here. I'd know then that they were in a really good place. how can you resist??????? Laughingkookaburra
I think I'm probably not supposed to try selling stuff here, sorry bout that. They have hung since new until now. If you can imagine, Disney hotel managers don't like loud music. If I had a nickel for every "turn it down". They have been babied and the maintenance staff always did a great job keeping them clean. colterphoto1
actually, it's PREFERRED that you sell Klipsch stuff here, just normally before we get into a bidding war with each other on eBay. But you're cool. There's no way, we had a hail storm last night and my car wouldn't fit into my 2 car garage because of 7 CW's 6 H's, and the double stack of LSI's. Not to mention all the other PA junk here. I simply wouldn't have a roof to put over it all.... Perhaps it's best.. Michael
