dakayus
I'm not sure what to buy. I can't afford a rsw, but I was wondering how they all rank against eachother. Like would the rsw-10 be a lot better than the ksw-15? Also and just in general ksw vs rw. Thanks
garymd
RSW beats RW which beats KSW. Not sure how the RW8 or 10 would compare to the KSW15 (is there such a thing?). Check the specs and the retail price which should be a pretty good guide in most cases.
Jay481985
check out the new synergy sub 10 and sub 12. They are at bestbuy and if you d it right when they go on sale every other week, you can snag one for around 500 dollars and its quite impressive. TheEAR
The order is as simple as looking at the price positioning. Now what is most important is you not always get more output with a price increase. You get better quality parts and bass. The current RSW series subs will be much(MUCH)tighter compared with the RW and Synergy subs, defined bass. The RSW10 reaches less deep than the RW10 but will be tigher, more defined. Most output per dollar is with the SUb10 and 12,they go deep, have massive output for thier tiny price. And quality is way better than the KSW subs(subs they replace,or complement if you prefer). I read a good few people who claim Klipsch RSW subwoofers do not reach deep, this is a false impression due to thier tremendous impact around 80Hz when cut higher.I tested dozens upon dozens of subs at home and the RSW line not only keeps up but bests most serious competition. Tom Nousaine made a list and the RSW15 ranks very high(deep bass output).Simply Klipsch's hallmark is battleship like impact, often people cut these subs too high and get to much bass energy around 80hz...resulting in the compalints.
