Thanks

Rick

Rick,

LOL

Sorry it came,not my fault.

Ok

The Synergy system with the KSW12 is a whole package. The sound is good overall, very nice for HT in a small to mid-sized room.On music its ok.

Now the RF-3II will bring you better sound quality and much more slam. The RF-3II have BIG R series trademark slam. The RF-3II can fill a very large room with sound, with no strain(if proper amp drives them).

I you can live with only mains for now then go for the RF-3II and later on add the RC-3II and then the matching sourrounds. You will reach new levels of quality and output.

And then maybe a RSW12 sub! Why not?

If you must have, want a good sounding system now get the Synergy package now.

I know I would get the RF-3II and add other R series speakers and subs later.

Thanks for the suggestions,,

I am going with the RF3-II's which I found for $599, but while I was looking around I found a set of RF-3 (not II's) for $499. Is there a big differnce other than the internal wiring with custom Z-Series Monster Cable?

Thanks

Rick

The RF-3II looks smaller then the older(ver. 1)RF-3.

Besides the Monster Cable wiring and the feet on the sides I doubt you will hear better sound.I did not compare them side by side.If you can do compare and decide.

I doubt the Ver II is worth the extra $100.
