Kain
Would you rather have that TV or this: http://www.samsungelectronics.com/mea/english/tv_sp-50l2fx.htm BTW, please do not take screen size into consideration. Only judge according to the TV itself. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Samsung SP-43L2FX (43" LCD Rear Projection HDTV) DVD player: Toshiba SD-900E (Progressive Scan DVD player) VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (HiFi VCR) Receiver: Denon AVC-A11SR (230V version of Denon AVR-4802) Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: SVS CS-Ultra w/Samson S1000 amplifier
justin_tx_16
well, the first one i would want if i am gonna watch like 80% of the time super wide screen DVD's. The second one i would get if i am gonna watch TV, and DVD's because it is more practical. I do not think that the first one is plasma, it would DEFINATELY say it was. and the price will be VERY high. how much are these things BTW? in American $$$ of course ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional help you want email Amy or call her toll free @ 1-888-554-5665
Kain
Well, I don't know the prices of these yet. Secondly, is the first TV 16:9? Which do you think has better picture quality? Does the first one seem like a Projection TV? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: (Still deciding) DVD player: (Still deciding) VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (HiFi VCR) Receiver: Denon AVC-A11SR (230V version of Denon AVR-4802) Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: SVS CS-Ultra w/Samson S1000 amplifier
justin_tx_16
quote: Ultra slim & light Only 90cm depth and 46kg weight. the first one is projection, It is 35.433inches or nearly 3 feet deep, that must be a projection... how is it ultra slim? Yes, it is 16:9 for quality.... the non projection will be a better picture, by far. but that TV should have an incredible picture anyways so it is really hard to say without actually watching one. ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional help you want email Amy or call her toll free @ 1-888-554-5665
Kain
They are both Projection TVs, aren't they? The second one is a LCD Rear Projection TV. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: (Still deciding) DVD player: (Still deciding) VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (HiFi VCR) Receiver: Denon AVC-A11SR (230V version of Denon AVR-4802) Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: SVS CS-Ultra w/Samson S1000 amplifier
NOSValves
If the wide screen has the stretch feature that allows regular TV and non wide screen formats to be strecthed to fit the screen. I would go 16X9 no matter what you get they are awesome for DVD's and wide screen veiwing. They also look okay strecth the regular stuff.
