Along with this change and perhaps having nothing to do with the magnet shape, the FS changed from 26 hz to 34 hz. Bob Crites Which is better, 26 hz or 34 hz? The two different K33's seem to have been put into identical cabinets over the years, unless some dimension of the port (depth perhaps) has changed. BEC Posted August 2, 2006 Author Share Posted August 2, 2006 I like the idea of the lower resonate frequency for the woofer in the Khorn and Cornwall. Probably makes no difference which one is in the Lascala and Belle. That is why I had my replacement woofers made to the specs of the pre-1985 K-33E.
