Moderators dtel's wife Posted August 12, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 12, 2006 After meeting with Ms. Donna at the Klipsch plant, we went to the Klipsch Distribution Center in Hope to pick up our new Cornwall III's. There were lots of boxes with the Jamo logo at the Klipsch Distribution Center. I am not sure what was in the boxes, but there were lots of Jamo boxes. Looks like Klipsch is up and running with Jamo. Jay481985
Or maybe Klipsch is reverse engineering the Jamos [] Hey I remember a funny car article where Ferrari called the journalists to see/test their new ferrari in Italy but they forgot to hide the Mercedes SL55 (a car that competes against their model) and last minute they tried to hide the car but the journalist's eyes already saw it. skonopa
Have a review: http://www.sixmoons.com/audioreviews/jamo/909.html I've read that review. Pretty intersting, but way out of my price range. Wonder how they compare to my more humbly priced RF-7s. Also, while reading that review, I cannot help to think how thos speakes sound with some serious guitars a'wailing out of'em! I ought to let the reviewer borrow my DragonForce cd [6]
Moderators dtel's wife Posted August 13, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 13, 2006 oops..... no wonder why I thought the name was familar...... [:$] Don't feel bad, dtel pointed the out the boxes to me in the Distribution Center and reminded me that Klipsch had recently acquired Jamo. formica
Wonder how they compare to my more humbly priced RF-7s. The front baffle looks too small (narrow) for a dipole to provide any bass extension... but they do look great. I didn't read the review, but the RF7's surely have better low end extension just from the general concept. ROb
