tommyboy
I'm in the market for a new receiver. I don't know which one to look into though. My speakers are all synergy series. ( SF1 main's, SS1 surrounds, C2 center, and a RW 10 sub) I use my system for about 80% home theater, and only 20% music. Any input is appreciated. thanks
tommyboy
I forgot to mention that I'm willing to spend around $
DrWho
What is your old reciever and what kind of features are you looking for with your new reciever? Denon is a personal favorite, but you might also look at Outlaw too: http://www.outlawaudio.com/products/1070.html
TheEAR
Around $800 you should look at HK and Denon. I had the 3802 and 5802,I still have a 4806 and all I can say is Denon matches very well with Klipsch.

Petrol
just don't get a yamaha wtf, over, LOL I'm finally, actually narrowing down my wish list to either a Yamaha RXV-2600 (possibly a RVX-1600), a Harmon-Kardon AVR745 (possibly a AVR 645) , or a Denon 3807 (possibly a 4307). . . and due to the features, the specs, the reviews and personal recommendations I've read and/or recieved, I'm leaning towards the Yamaha with the HK as second choice

Hunt
I've got a slightly used denon that I will sell you cheap. AVR-2805 for $400 plus shipping. It mates well with the Klipsch - but I just upgraded to seperates. Pic's posted on Audiogon. If you don't need DVI or HDMI, it's a nice quality sound for the buck. Easy to set-up with included Mic and auto set-up features. There are several good, used AVR's out there on Audiogon.
