Cimmarov
I just picked up my first HT system, so I am kind of new at this please help. My receiver has audio and video in and out. Should I go from my cable box right to the TV then have audio go to the receiver. Or should I go from the cable box right into the receiver with both audio and video then have the video go the the TV. Any help would be great and if I am not even close please point me in the right direction. Thanks
wuzzzer
For best signal transfer its best to go from your cable box into your receiver. You'll benefit by having a shorter signal path and less possibility of interference from other components and wires. For video, unless you don't have enough inputs on your TV for everything you hook up to it, I'd just connect the video output from your cable box directly to your TV.
