tonytahoe
Hello everyone. I have just entered the world of Klipsch a little less than a month ago. My modest home theater consists of 2 pairs of RB-61s, a RC-62, and the RW-12d all controlled by a Denon AVR 2106. For the picture I have a 51" Hitachi RPTV, Toshiba DVD player (I have a Oppo 970 on order), digital cable w/ HD DVR. I have been lusting after the Klipsch sound since I was introduced to it by my local dealer a few years ago. Anyway, on to my question. My sub moves around a lot when I am playing music at aound -20bs. Any recommendations or common fixes for this. My plan is to try some rubber feet first and if that doesn't work, I was thinking about putting bags of lead shot in a decorative pot and sitting the pot on top of the sub. Any advice will be welcomed. I will post a link to my webshots page later. I need to add some updated pics to it.

Arky
Wal-mart has round rubber door stops usually sold in 2 packs. That might stop the movement on wood floors. On my wood I cut a piece of matting used for lining drawers & kitchen cabinets, to stop the movement. I haven't noticed any detriments to the sonics. Buckeye_Nut
Just place the sub on a floormat[H] I wouldnt recommend placing stuff on the sub because it will eventually end up on the floor. LOL
frankphess
Remove the stock "feet" and replace with spikes. This will also reduce the cabinet vibration being transferred to the floor. http://www.oregondv.com/spikes.htm
theplummer
tip the sub on its side, grab one of the feet and pull. That's how I found out my Klipsch sub had spikes on it, no where in the owners manual does it tell you that it was equiped with spikes. Maybe yours has them also. Don't worry about them digging in unless your kids like to use the sub as a platform from whince to leap from.
