I can't find the headphone jack for the life of me on this unit........is their an older model 4.1 that doesn't have one? It's not on the right side of the Control panel either......

I gotta find this thing! Thanks.

I'm not too familiar with the Promedias, but I do believe the v.2-400's do not have a headphone jack. The v.2-400's were the original 4.1 speakers. You can upgrade the preamp to a CP-1. This will give you a headphone jack.

the CP-1 will work with the v2.400's and costs $50 for the upgrade. If you have one of the earlier v2.400's, like before Jan 2001, then you might want to go ahead and get this upgrade to prevent your speakers from crackling in the future. On the CP-1, the controls are MUCH tighter. I have it and love it. Some say that it improves the sound, but i do not know how much i believe that.
