tuned4life
11 ply 1 and 7/8 inch thick plywood. At one time I had (100) 44 x 44 inch sheets of this stuff. It was custum manufactured to shelve heavy parts bins. when they tore down the plant I spent 17 years in I was able to put in a sealed bid on them. 100 sheets for 25.00. 15 years ago I made 4 speakers that were 26 wide x 18 deep x 36 high. Went through alot of saw blades cutting the stuff. They were so hard to move around I sold them. I think I will make another pair for yard use and put k 33 woofers, 400 horns, and k77 tweeters in them. With removable back so i can bring the components inside when I am not using them. Not sure what demensions will be. Needless to say the cabinets won't need any extra bracing.

brennyE
You just----gotta-----make a huge brain numbing subwoofer! you wouldnt have to worry about all the pesky bracing that eats up your precious internal volume! no box coloration at all!
