I haven't spent much time listening critically to the Heresy III, but my music/HT is a mix of Heresy and Heresy II. They are close enough to be a very good match, but there is a bit of 'tinny' sound on the H I when closely compared to the H II (all is very subtle). If the differences are as minor between the H II and H III - you should have something that sounds reasonably like all Heresy. Enjoy. DrWho Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 Ya, the new H3's are nice...they are more tonally balanced to be used as standalone speakers whereas the older Heresy I and II are a bit top-heavy. So basically the H1 and H2 are going to sound better tucked closer to the corners where the H3 can be pulled out a bit into the room. They all sound like the Heresy though. welcome to the forum.
