Blazemaster
Like the title suggests, thinking about selling my pair of RF82s in black, how much will they go for in the used market? They are less than an year old and never been driven hard because I've had them in a small room. Now that I'm moving my equipments to a bigger room, want to get the bigger Reference towers. How much they go for and anybody interested in them?
DoubleJ
This is a tough one..Did a quick search on completed eBay sales and didn't see any that were sold. There is an unauthorized seller on eBay selling brand new in the box for 769.00 (Black and Cherry finish) MSRP was around 1,000.00 so my best guess would be between 600-700. Start high, you can always come down. [] What are looking at replacing the RF-82's? RF-83's? Good luck on your sale and pending upgrade!! kelA
Does your dealer have a upgrade policy so you could trade in the 82's for something bigger? If the speakers are less than a year old, that is what I would do if given the chance.
Spkrdctr
They are worth $200 for the pair and you have to pay shipping. I'll take them.........[]
Blazemaster
I'm looking to upgrade them to the RF63 and maybe the RF83. I'm more of a HT guy, so the additional benefits of going with RF83 compare to the 63 won't be too noticeble for my application. Not sure if my dealer will offer a upgrade program because he's more of a custom installer compared to normal retailer. spkrdctr: I hope you are just joking.
