Mallette
Coolies. What's a VTA-70 as opposed to an ST-70? I've an ST-70 and love it. Also, do you know anything about the adjustments on the Empire? I have one I use now for 78's (and it's fabulous for that) though I originally purchased it as a primary. I never could get it quite adjusted. Arm does not set down straight (which is common to a great many TT's) and the magnetic lift is not quite where it needs to be for LP's...though it is good for 78's. meagain
I can't remember... were these the beat up black ones? What did you do to them?
NJbob
Sorry for the bad pictures, I only had a phone camera. The VTA70 is a st70 with a board from HIFI4tubes.com. It took the sweet sounding amp into a new High end hot rod. This thing is cleaner, better bass and a viel is lifted. Yes these were the black beat up one's I displayed a couple of weeks ago. I buit these with 3 sheets of wood and about 40 hours work.
