colterphoto1 Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 duplex ceiling speakers for use in offices, distrubuted sound networks etc. That's why the transformer. you can try them out at home by disconnecting the transformer and going directly to where the b&w wires tie to the basket. i doubt if they are very hi-fidelity despite the Altec name. M Hey Michael, I picked them up at work because they were going to the trash and I guess they are being used throughout the bldg. They do look just like car coaxial speakers. Appreciate it guy's.
