theryugobuddy Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 I took the kids to Spiderman 3 yesterday -- a great movie. And yet, the standard was set so high with the first two that you feel its not quite as satisfying--there's almost too much going on. But wow what a ride. The effects are dazzling, the fight scenes are innovative and close-up. Kirsten is radiant, and Peter Parker's dance on the dark side is funny as hell and ominous at the same time. Spidey fights so many villains and has so much trouble with his love life in this edition that its dizzying, and after its over you realize its been one-damn-thing-after-another. Tobey Maguire saves it with his knack for making you care about this guy in tights. I love this series, but I hope 3 is the last-- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
