Klipsch voicing tenent's

Recommended Posts

what is the difference between PWK designed product's ..

... and say .. Reference ..??

obviously, there's a huge difference between the presentation of a RF-7, and .. Chorus 2

not to mention, LaScala vs RF83

is the goal ... Flat reproduction ..

or something different ..?

Interesting question Duke, I'm curious to hear the answer too. If we don't get one by the pilgrimage, remind me to ask some of the engineers.

Hearing Rich talk at the AES last year, it seems that all of the original PWK tenants are still being carried out. I have a feeling though that the new aesthetic constraints have put a heavy burden on maintaing that same signature sound.

Have you had a chance to hear the KL-650's?

KL 650 ...??

no ... why that question ...??

Of all the fancy new products, I think they voice the closest to the old heritage. They've also got some crazy style dynamic capabilities too, which isn't quite the same with the Reference series.

While the designs have changed along the way, the foundation of Klipsch's work horn-loaded technology has remained constant. The hallmark of Klipsch loudspeakers, horns offer high efficiency, low distortion, controlled directivity and flat frequency response, allowing them to more closely reproduce the quality and tonal characteristics of live sound.
