placing standard(horizontal) Cornwalls vertically, has anyone tried this?

Recommended Posts

I have read how the older "vertical" Cornwall may have better imaging that the more common "horizontal" Cornwall. Has anyone ever experimented with placing a pair of horizontal Cornwalls on their sides, tweeter and squawker on the inside and woofers against the side wall of a room.

Just curious......... ,

Mine has an arrow on it pointing "up". Sorry, just had to say this.

Chuckled as I read it!

Guess I'd better call BEC and see if he has replacement arrows. I can't find 'em on the cabs.

The Crown PS400s and IC150 were harsh on my ears with stock CWs. I had the speakers sitting about 8 feet in front of me spaced less than 8 feet apart in my apartment. Bass in the face was plenty and the horns weren't shoved in my ears. Yea Duke I know, The IC150s are "ICY 150s". I love Crown Amps. Just prefer tubes as I rust away in my old age. I'm less tolerant of crap in my life as I get older. Cranky old fart here. Still love to rock, but playing golf is almost as good as running the bars "picking one out of the herd". I know I'm getting old. As much hair on my ears as on my head. I'm so old I remember when the only porn available was just graffitti on the walls of caves. Tubes, horns, and old age I guess.

ROCK (ing chair) ON
