jimdetroit Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 I have read how the older "vertical" Cornwall may have better imaging that the more common "horizontal" Cornwall. Has anyone ever experimented with placing a pair of horizontal Cornwalls on their sides, tweeter and squawker on the inside and woofers against the side wall of a room. Daddy Dee Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 Yeh, it would work fine. I'd suggest to try orienting the speakers with the tweeters on the outside, though. Just my preference. Guess I'd better call BEC and see if he has replacement arrows. I can't find 'em on the cabs. The Crown PS400s and IC150 were harsh on my ears with stock CWs. I had the speakers sitting about 8 feet in front of me spaced less than 8 feet apart in my apartment. Bass in the face was plenty and the horns weren't shoved in my ears. Yea Duke I know, The IC150s are "ICY 150s". I love Crown Amps. Just prefer tubes as I rust away in my old age. I'm less tolerant of crap in my life as I get older. Cranky old fart here. Still love to rock, but playing golf is almost as good as running the bars "picking one out of the herd". I know I'm getting old. As much hair on my ears as on my head. I'm so old I remember when the only porn available was just graffitti on the walls of caves. Tubes, horns, and old age I guess.
