When I bought my pair, one of them came with the very top right peg snapped off out of the box. pierceb Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 I broke about 4 of of my pegs on my RF-7's. I glued them back on using hot glue. I reinforced all the posts, including broken ones, using steel dowel pins made out of coat hangers (glued in). Perfect diameter. Perfect fix. I haven't had any problems with them since. bhendrix Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 The grills are molded ABS plastic. Same plastic as the black plumbing pipe and fittings. Go to Lowes or HD and buy some ABS solvent in the plumbing section. Put a little dab on the broken peg, hold it in place for about 30 seconds, then let it cure for a while and the peg will be successfully repaired.
