paully
Does the Heresy II always say Heresy II on the back or is it more complicated at times?
theplummer
I believe early Heresy II's only said Heresy or H on the label. A sure fire way to tell is look at the back. If it's screwed on they're Plain Heresy's. Also look at the mother board the speakers will be attached from the inside of the cabinet. Heresy II's were all mounted from the outside of the cabinet with the back not removeable. Early H II's will also have a round speaker connector on the back, later ones were square. paully
Thanks, it is hard to tell from the pictures but I will try to figure it out.
mark1101
You should be looking for something that says LaScala on it. Before that baby is born. []
paully
LOL. Absolutely true. Those were incredible. I came across a nice pair of Heresys and I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have been considering La Scalas but can't find any close for a reasonable cost (i.e. $700 is about what I can spend right now). The Quartet I's also look really good. If I found either of those two where I could pick them up I would have already done it.
