klipsch4life
I just got back from Little Rock where I saw the '64 Tribute Band. I saw them about 8 years ago in San Francisco. Unbelievable! These guys are the ultimate Beatles tribute band. They use all vintage instruments ( Rickenbacker, Hofner, Gibson, Vox, etc,) for an original sound. They dress just like the lads did in the early days. They have their mannerisms, their haircuts, and harmonies that would make Lennon & McCartney take a second look. You would swear you were back at Shea ( without most of the screaming teeny boppers) watching the real thing. If I win the lottery, these guys are going to play the celebration party. It they come to your area ( they tour 140 dates a year) and you like the pre Sgt Pepper tunes, then you shouldn't miss them. They have played Carnagie Hall 7 times, and George Harrisons sister was so overcome, she had a party at her house for them. Ok, this boys got a ticket to ride- to bed. All I have to do is, act naturally. KG
Daddy Dee
KG, Thanks for the review. I'd hoped to hear them in LR, but was picking my wife up at the airport. They must sound absolutely fabulous.
klipsch4life
Dee The sad part is Raye Ann couldn't go with me, so I had an extra ticket. 5th row center in the orchestra pit area. Couldn't find anyone in LR to go with me on a 2 hour notice! Great show...
