midmadn Posted February 20, 2001 Share Posted February 20, 2001 I'm bummed. Today the Receiver my KG 2.5's are hooked to started shutting down. So, I checked all of the wiring and Speakers. I determined the cause to be one of the KG 2.5's. I tried changing the Speaker wire and that didn't help. So I took the front off of the offending Speaker and after disconnecting the components one at a time, I was able to determine that it is most definitely a short in the lower Woofer. I even switched the wires from one Woofer to the other, just to be sure it wasn't the x-over. Does anyone know what the warranty period is on the KG series?
