Glitch
I reciently recieved a Promedia 4.1 speaker set. I hooked up everything but luck never seems to come to me. No sound is played out of the speakers and possibly a problem with the speaker activation button. I believe to have a 4 channel sound card from the sentance "Two line-level analog outputs via stereo jacks on rear bracket, Front and Rear Line-Outs" that is under the soundcard specifications on my system. The other possible problem is that when pluged in to the wall outlet the LED glows red. When the speaker activation button is pushed the LED glows green and when the button is released the button comes back out again and the LED glows red again. Something tells me that this is not suppose to happen. First, is the speaker activation button suppose to say inwards, Second, since the LED glows red again is this a sign that something is wrong with the soundcard or connection, and Third, what is wrong? Help please.
justin_tx_16
ok, red means headphone output... green means speakers are powered... if you push in teh button all the way, it should stay red untill you push it again. make sure your sound card is not set to digital output... what sound card do you have? ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150
Mike Lindsey
Oh, and even though Justin didn't mention it, there is a separate board for Pro Media problems. Just scroll a little further down from the main Forums page and you will find it... Mike ------------------ My Music Systems
