Neil Young is releasing a new CD. "Chrome Dreams II" And going on a 7 week tour. Release date and tour schedule hasnt been annouced yet. 3 previously written songs and 7 new songs. Talk on the street is there will be an 18 minute version of the previously unreleased song "Oridinary People". It's a great song.

I think I read somewhere that the record included Neil, Ralph Molina on drums, Rick Rosas on Bass and Ben Keith on guitar/steel or both. Whether he tours with the same crew is another matter. Also, there were horns on a few of the songs, one of them Ordinary People, so there should be some horns on tour with him too. Larry Cragg played baritone sax back on the 1988 bluenotes tour, among other horn players.

Anyways, this ought to be a legendary record and tour with Ordinary People. Powerful song with powerful guitar.

Doug, how do I get up in the front row like you do?

Hello Kimball, First thing is to try through the fan club presale. The best I ever did through a fan club was second row. I bought some of the tickets on eBay. If all else fails I go to the concert a day early to get to the scalpers before anyone else does. I have been extremely lucky. And willing to pay the price.

I got row "U" seats in Detroit at Fox Theater.

Pricey but my 23 year old daughter wanted a ticket for her birthday and has never seen NY.

Anyone else going to the Detroit show?

Congrats! it should be a real treat for your daughter. I just found out this morning that Neil is coming to Buffalo. Date and venue hasnt been announced yet. We are pretty lucky as Neil seems to always make quite a few stops along the Great Lakes.
