""Would it work in a LaScala or Khorn set up?   ""

Are you sure it is a k-43-kp?   does it have stamped (k-43) or cast frame(k-1543)?

it can't be used in a khorn.

stamped frame will fit a lascala.

cast frame will need a groove cut into the sides of the inner lascala cab.

I should have been clearer on my question. Assuming the inner clearance of the woofer is not an issue how does this woofer perform in a horn loaded enclosure? According to the link above (thanks for that) it had 3.4 ohm Re, Fs 36hz, qt .314, qe .33, and vas 198.474 lit with 98.5 spl. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have a pair of K43-KP's in my Lascalas. They add the extra thump that lascalas seem to always lack however, it wasn't easy getting them to fit. They are the larger basket so 1/4" has to come off somewhere. You can either sand 1/8" of each side of the dog house or you can take wood chip and do the same. I know it sounds like a nightmare but I swear it's not. I was a skeptic at first too. But the truth is, 1/8" on each side was only a couple taps with the chisel. Couldn't believe I made it such a big deal before. Now, I would never own a pair with out them installed. My dad has a pair with the K-33-e and they just sound weak to me now. I said would never do that to the inside of my dog house, but in the end I was mad I waited so long to do it. Just make sure you have a double gasket on the 43 like the 33 does and you're good. (Or you could swap them, worst case)
