WMcD
Attached is an article regarding Paul Voight's work. This does not go into speakers or horns, unfortunately. Mostly about electric recording. OTOH, people may find a few nuggets of intersting information. Gil Paul Voight and Edison Bell.pdf

I was recently watching the 1902 movie of Melies's called A Trip To The Moon which is amazing. This movie cost Melies alot of money to produce and was counting on the American market to recoup costs. The sad thing is when Melies brought Trip To The Moon to America people had already seen the film as Edison bootlegged the movie and already taken in the profits. One of the first big budget movies was one of the first bootlegged. Times aren't so different. Sorry for the off topic diversion but every time I here Edison's name I think bootlegger. These old publication are not always on point to a current subject. Still, they can tickle some brain cells. Gil
