love_hertz Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 I have a Yamaha Rxv-2600 reciever and a Sony XBR3 LCD 46 tv. I just finished hooking up my home theater and am trying to access the onscreen menu for the reciever. My question is to get this to come on my tv. What should I have hooked up? DrKlahn Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Correct. The HDMI output (monitor out) will need to be hooked into the TV. Alternatively, if you are not using the receiver for HDMI switching, you can use another output (component, composite) for the receiver's OSD and use the HDMI for the video source of your choosing.
