SilverSport Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I stopped by BB yesterday and I saw them playing (over by games) a Playstation 3 with Star Wars on it...upconverting a "regular" movie to almost BluRay quality...armed with information I learned here (you guys are great...you know that don't you??? [] ) I asked the kid if the PlayStation 3 was playing the movie...Yup...what he thought about that being better than the regular BluRay players...he said, best kept secret is the PS-3...I asked about price and if they ever did sales...Nope...just about everyone is $399.99...he did add...look for the incentives...many places will offer movies or games to sweeten the pot...cool...I asked about the newer model coming out and he said he thought sometime in April but that he did not believe prices would drop anytime soon on this one (40G I believe)...anyone know of the best place to get one of these at???... Nothing special, unless you’re an uber MGS fanboy who must haveyet another MGS toy. Amazon used to run special when the HD cat fight was ensuing; BOGO's andplain free discs.
