res_communes Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 I ordered a set of replacement binding posts for my Heresy II speakers from the parts department and unfortunately the set they sent were too short on the threaded end (on the inside of the speaker box). I have not yet followed up with the parts department, but according to parts this was the only posts they had that may fit. Does anyone have any ideas on where to acquire a longer length speaker binding post for Heresy II's. The threads (on the interior side of the posts) measure about 3/4 of an inch. Since yours are broke, etc, you should be able to pass a non-Klipsch pair through the holes where the originals went. You might be able to clip the solder as close enough to the old terminal point to get a crimp ring on the new post end without having to resort to the soldering next to that crossover circuit board.
