speedydgon
Just got a set of RCW-5 (fronts) and RCR-5 (rear ceilings) and really enjoy them. Included in each kit was some thin white foam material that looks sized to fit into the grill for each speaker. I checked the manual and no mention of it in there. Diagram doesn't show it (not even as optional if it is) so I am not sure if I was/am supposed to put it in or toss it. Is this stuff packing material or is it supposed to go behind the grill? Mighty Favog
Don't worry. It's just packing material. The least amount of material(s) between your ear and the drivers (HF anyway) the better. But that's another can of worms. ------------------ Tom KLF-20 Mahogany (Cornell Hotwired) McIntosh C33 Preamp McIntosh MVP-841 CD/DVD Rotel RB-1080 Amp Yamaha PF-800 Turntable/ Sure V15 Type V Cartridge Ortofon VMS-30 mkII Cartridge Stanton 999SS Cartridge Yamaha K-1020 Cassette dbx 1231 EQ H.H.
