There is no audible gain you can get.I would conect the speaker wire to the HF.I doubt if you conect to LF you would hear any gain or loss. I use right now Monster Cable M Series M2.4B, 10 and 15ft runns for all my Klipsch R series speakers(RF-7,RC-7 and RF-5's).Its A ok.
