customsteve01
BigDaddy just said about everything I could have said but probably better. Make sure you look into it before youjump in it is alot of responsability and work to have them and take care of them the way they should be taken care of. yet you can have some land and throw some horses on it but that is not taking care of them. There are Vet bills feed and hay which all of these are going up in price just like everything else. We were paying $3.00 a bale for hay 5 years ago and now it is $7.50, we go thru about 200 bales a year for two horses. you need a Trailer if your going to take them riding off of your property. We just lost one of our horses and the vet bill trying to save him would almost buy a set of Palladiums. Caroline had him for 14 years and he was her baby, so you can imagine what we have been thru in the past couple of weeks. Please if you get some just make sure its what the whole family wants to do. If all the work gets put on one peson and the rest of the family doesn't help out it will not be any fun. Steve
