horn player Posted June 3, 2008 Share Posted June 3, 2008 I just bought a KSW-12 subwoofer at a junk store in Central VA for 40 dollars and it sounds great with my Heresys. In really nice condition too. Also at this store was a hugh 1966 Fisher solid state console stereo with Gerard TT and nice AR3A birch speakers inside - all for 22 dollars, and included all the original sales receipts and literature for all of it from 1966! I passed on it the other day but I will get it tomorrow for sure if it hasn't sold. I should have grabbed the AR3A's for 22 dollars and told them to keep the rest! At the same store a 15" Dahlquist sub for 50 dollars - I passed on it. This is the same store where I got some Cornwalls for 75 dollars, which ended up being a so-so deal as they had Pyle woofers and needed one tweeter diaphram.
