jbd
I am going to be walling off a brick wall in my FR that houses a fire place, and put another wall about 12 inches in front of this "false wall" to house wiring. I am going to cut out a shelf for my RC52 so it will be built in, and realize that my RF52's will have to remain on the floor. I don't want to build my fronts into the wall. My question is, can I "enclose" my Sub 10 by cutting out a square in the wall (there is more than 12 inches of depth in the corner) and doing a built in for my sub? Will this affect aduio quality? I am trying to free up some floor space. If I can get away with it, I would like to build the sub in to the wall. I seem to remember seeing pictures of someone doing this on the forum not too long ago.

IndyKlipschFan
If it is a front firing sub, and maybe you pad around it... You will be fine. One that fires down or has a passive I would not build it in. (The bass will be Boomy and un natural.... and not blend in at all.) Hope that helped..♠

jbd
One that fires down or has a passive I would not build it in I beleive the Sub 10 is a downfiring sub, so I don't think I can build around it.
jimmy4300
The Sub 10 is a down firing sub. However, both the RW-10D and the RW-12D are front firing.
