colterphoto1
I don't recall if the woofers on the FII have rubber surrounds on them - I believe they do. If so, that whitish powder you see is probably normal - it is the atmosphere interacting with the rubber. right you are sir.
colterphoto1
The woofers have rubber surrounds, the passives are accordion style surrounds. From what I've gathered the passives are not available anymore. You have to fix them or find a same weighted replacement and replace on both speakers for a matched pair. I'm not sure this is correct. And I don't believe the passive's according surrounds are rubber, but I'm 100% sure that my woofers have rubber surrounds. I have a bit of the same thing going on in mine, and it's just dust or oxidation. The woofers did not have rubber surrounds, they are a pleted surround, hence the dilema in what has caused it. If you have Forte II's with foam or "pleted" surrounds I've love to see a picture.
colterphoto1
My forte II's have inverted roll rubber surrounds. NEVER a foam surround on Klipsch speakers. Never. (ok, never say never with Klipsch, someone will disprove this theory in 5.4.3.2.....)
Guest srobak
Dear dutchbro77,Ibelieve you have a typo in your listing... you wrote that you"upgraded" to Bose from Klipsch. As a statement of fact, this would befalse and might even be classified as a fraudulent listing. You maywant to correct the listing, or put smilies if you were trying todemonstrate sarcasm. - srobak

Guest srobak
He hasn't responded... don't figure I'll get one. I'm half tempted to report it just for giggles.
