mr_eric_s
Not my auction, just curious about what this is: http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-Walnut-speaker-from-the-1950s_W0QQitemZ250268960626QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250268960626&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318
mr_eric_s
Is it a Shorthorn 12?
billybob
Would help with some dedicated outside shots, even just a couple. Someone is bidding so maybe they have a clue.
Daddy Dee
The drivers look like a Heresy. Haven't seen a cab and grill cloth like that, though.
colterphoto1
Looks to be early Heresy with the 1000 Hz mid horn, as was used on Shorthorns of the era. Chrome plated K77 also, yummy!
colterphoto1
hint: turn that photo of the grille on it's side. Now you have the vertical upright wood panels that characterized the early H cabinets. They have one of those at the museum in Mahogany if memory serves. Also early H models with 10 and 8 inch woofer varieties I believe. They had really cute white retro grille cloth on them. khorn51
Dam that grille cloth matches my 59 cornwall shoot I'll have to bid.
