billgrad
Just curious......since I'm looking into buying new Cornwalls, anyone have any bad experiences with NAD, Cambridge Audio or Rotel equipment? I realize the options are almost endless, but have done a bit of homework on these 3 lines and they're all available locally to listen. Thinking more along the lines of repairs and/or problems.... RT FAN
I can only speak to the Rotel aspect but I own the Rotel RA-1070 Integrated Amp and am very happy with it. Great functionality and it makes my Heresy II's sing. Check out this review, Not sure how to post the link: http://www.tnt-audio.com/ampli/rotel1070_e.html Good luck with the new speakers. Eldamar
I can say that my Cornwall III's are great on my RC-03 pre and RB-03 amp setup. Iv had them for about 3 years now I guess. They have driven RB-35's and RF-7's before and I have had no issues.

Mighty Favog
I once had a Rotel RB-1080 (200wpc) and found that it was very difficult to play music at a soft level and still have the sound well mixed (bass, treble, etc.). I had to turn it up to at least 1/2 watt before the sound would come together. I was using KLF-20's (100db @ 1w) so the Cornwalls will probably exasurbate the phenomena. A couple years ago I sold it and bought a used McIntosh MC252 and it just kills the Rotel.
