HudsonValleyNoah
Hi, I am new to my KP-301's but I think the rating it 800 watts max. I also think it says this on the input cup, on the speakers. But, I could be wrong on all counts as a KP newbie... Whamo has KP-301's and I bet he knows all about them, I will send him a note and ask him to stop in. bhendrix
You are welcome. The KP-301 is essentially a Chorus I in pro configuration.

joeydingo
Bill, would you happen to have spec sheets on the 302's (3002s) by any chance? Like you, I also have th KP 4000 C2s and am amazed you can't find anything about them on the website. Are the KP4000s the same as the KP480s, just a new model number? colterphoto1
4 digit number usually have rat fur. Check Steve Phillips in Tech 1-800-554-7724, he has spec sheets to everything, but there's not a lot in the archives about the 4 digit pro speakers. To answer your question, the 480 and 4000 should be essentially the same (may have been some cosmetic or input cup changes). As pro line progressed, Klipsch moved from 1/4" inputs to dual bananas, finally to Neutrik Speakons on the final series.

Cornwalled
The 301s appear similar to the Cornwalls. I wonder how they sound in comparison? Do they use phenolic diaphragms? -Jon
