philvmax14
I wanted to thank everyone for the input on my center channel issue. I am running a set of cornwalls up front, god i love these things. Anyhow, due to space and Money, i opted for the Klipsch RC-52. I got a deal on one last night, hooked it up, and couldnt be happier. artto
Great! I'm running a similar setup on HT ~ Chorus mains, RC7 center, and RC7's for the rear, an old SW12 sub. I used to have the RC7 L+C+R, but after recently aquiring the Chorus at a very tasty price I'm pretty satisfied. In fact I didn't realize that the Chorus is basically a smaller footprint Cornwall (albeit doesn't go down quite as low). Cornwalls were my first Klipsch many many moons ago. But I also have to say that the Reference Series products are (IMHO) not up to Heritage in quality or performance. I know I'm going to replace the rear RC7 with Chorus or Forte, but I'm still at a loss for something substantially better than the RC7 to fit my layout/space requirements without getting too involved. Some have suggested the Academy but I'm not sure that will cut it for me. I've considered Forte and KG4 but these will put the TV too high.
