DR, as to how the brain processes the location of sounds from the rear, I am not even going to attempt an explaination or pretend any understanding. However, in order to put the six card together I did not need to. It's obvious the brain can do it, which is the point about why use a computer to "fool" it when if you supply the brain with the the stimulus as if it were the "real thing" and let the brain do it's work. Hence, the SoundCube to receive sound in all directions and the speaker placement to invert that situation.
