I have the new Peach II with remote and I realized the remote function does not work with my universal/learning remote unless I am very close to the unit. Additionally, using the universal remote causes the volume to continually increase until I hit the volume down button to stop it. I do not have these problems with the supplied Peach remote (works from across the room) but wonder if any knows why the difference? Is this because the Peach volume is not stepped like the universal remote? I want to know because I plan to move the Peach into a solid credenza and will have to use a universal RF remote that can work through solid wood doors. Is this possible with the Peach?
