nocam
I'm considering reusing my old Promedia 5.1 satellites with an AV receiver but I can't find their impedance listed anywhere. I don't have a receiver picked out yet but the ones I've looked at all require a minimum of 6 to 8 ohms. Anyone know?
Mister_Clean
if I recall correctly they are 8ohm which is compatable with pretty much all home stereo's, but don't quote me on that, I am about 90% sure though, i can double check tomorrow. elliot-tronics
they're 6 ohms
Mister_Clean
and yet sometimes the 10% prevails, lol.
nocam
I'm probably going to get an Onkyo TX-SR606. Its manual states a minimum impedance of 6 ohms, so either way the satellites *should* work without burning up the receiver. [] Thanks for the help, guys.
