JohnWB
Hi All, I was wondering what the difference is between the RF-3 and RF-3 II speakers. As well, would there be an indication on the tag affixed to the speaker that also houses the serial numbers? Thanks, John
RockOn4Klipsch
there should be no difference in sound or build quality as the sport the same specs as each other, other than the build year. As the RF 3II's is a new model. I think either way would be a good choice. Maybe you could also look at the RF 5's. As far as the ID plate goes i'm sure there will be indication of the actual model....either RF 3 or RF 3 II
Rich_Guy
I think that the changes between the two are pretty minor, yes the serial number tag will be marked either RF-3 or RF-3 II. I am not sure exactly what is different between the two. The RF-3 II was internally wired with Monster cable (this may be the only difference) I am not sure but the RF-3 may not have been. Anyway the difference is very minor and only internal.
