I must say though, nobody can deny the depth the HGS-18 has...that thing just keeps digging and digging till your insides can't take it no more. At 30hz, it feels like a cannon going off in your stomach, at 15hz your body is vibrating like a 7 point earthquake. ---------------- But the SVS PB2-Plus goes louder than the Velodyne HGS-18.

  3. By the way, does anyone know any good Audi information/fan website?
  4. Thanks. One last question (I hope )... Would you prefer a SVS PB2-Plus or a Velodyne HGS-18 for home theater?
  5. I use AVIA Guide to Home Theater.
  6. m00n, It's time to get a SVS.

  10. OMG! I just saw it in an AWESOME SDDS movie theater! The sound was AMAZING! It had VIOLENT bass! GEEZ! The movie was amazing too! Those who saw it in a crappy movie theater missed out A LOT!
  11. TheEAR, If you were deciding between the Paradigm Reference Servo-15 and the SVS PB2-Plus for home theater, which one would you pick?

    New PC

The Asus doesn't support voltage mod like the Abit.
  13. Actually, Car and Driver liked the Audi S4 engine more than the BMW M3 engine particulary because it is now a true 4.2 V8! Secondly, handling is better on the S4 too due to quattro. The S4 got a 10/10 on handling and a 10/10 for its engine.

I wouldn't get the Audi anyway, unless its just Audi love. If money is an issue I'd get an subby STI, it will smoke the S4 in all areas except above 100 mph; plus u save over 10000-15000 grand which could be used for mods, which will then own the s4 in every aspect. Of couse, it wont look as fancy to those who dont know cars. If moneys not an issue I'd look into an M3 or a Z06(if 4 door dont matter). The M3 has class, and it will smoke the S4.. For me, just out of principle, performance to price is important, even if money is not an issue. I love to drive ---------------- Did you read the latest issue of Car and Driver? The Audi S4 HAMMERED the BMW M3 and the Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG.
  15. Lets say that you were getting a new Audi S4. Would you get it with manual transmission or automatic transmission? Why?
  16. Congrats! We have two cars, and one of them is a 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser 4.7 V8. We got it for the dunes. It's awesome!
  17. Okay, here is the response I got from SVS regarding the Paradigm Reference Servo-15 and the SVS PB2-Plus: Hello Haris, The servo15 is a nice subwoofer. It is very comparable to the 20-39PCi in performance. I would estimate the PB-2+ to have about 3x the output capabilities down to the 21-23hz range. Tom V. SVS I also found out that the shipping cost for the SVS PB2-Plus to Dubai is $205. Even with shipping, the SVS PB2-Plus is about the same price as the Paradigm Reference Servo-15 here. Due to this, I'll probably just get the SVS PB2-Plus.
  18. Thanks. But I would like to stick with either a single Paradigm Reference Servo-15 or a single Velodyne HGS-18. But since you said the HGS-18 is not really worth the extra money over the Servo-15, I guess I'll get the Servo-15. Thanks you all for your help!
  19. It kicked ***! Can't wait to hear it on Klipsch!
  20. Thanks. I just found out that the Velodyne HGS-18 is available here for $2,343. In your opinion (TheEAR), is it worth the extra money over the Paradigm Reference Servo-15 for home theater?
  21. Oh, I read that thread posted by him. But only during the "early days" of when it was posted, so when I read it all "this stuff" wasn't posted yet.
  22. By the way, how will the Paradigm Reference Servo-15 compare to a Velodyne HGS-18 and HGS-15 for home theater?
