WE are expected to received 10-13 inches today, here in Omaha, Nebraska. While snow is frequent, it ussually is in smaller amounts.

I love my Rs'7 also. They ROCK!

I left the dowel rods unpainted for now. When I have the time and money to paint the entire room I will consider painting it then. I'll get a pick as soon as possible.

Before I just put the RC-7 on top of my entertainment center. I know some put the speaker on top of their tv sets.

I recieved both X-Men 1 and 2 for my birthday last December. Watched the X-Men United for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the audio soundtrack. As mentioned earlier, very good use of the surrounds. I agree with you Moon, the did seem to leave it open for another movie. But I have not heard anything about a third X-men.

mbajner, Yesterday I finished building the speaker stand that you described. Thanks for the info! Now I just sit and wait for my front projector to arrive.

mbajner, I like that stand, I think I can handle that. I have been looking all over for center channel stands. They are either to small (wide and deep)and/or do not have the capacity to hold a 45 pound speaker. Thanks for all the help!

What do you guys use for speaker stands for your RC-7?

Well good thing that when my wife and I bought the house we had the sellers pay for a Home Warranty for one year. Sounds like much more than I want to take on. It will only cost me 50 dollars to have an electrician come out and look atit and also do any repairs. Time to make a phone call. Thanks for the help.

Marksdad, I did flip the breaker switch and still nothing. Other outlets work in the basement too, all of them infact. FYI the house is 5 years old, one previous owner, if that helps any. THanks for the replies, much appreciated.

Yes I did try plugging it back into the original outlet, and still nothing. I am going to take the cover off and inspect it up close, but in order to do that I'll have to move all my equipment and entertainment center. Definately not looking forward to that, but oh well.

Today when I came home from work I noticed that none of my standby lights were on. I have a Monster 1100 powerbar, and it was not on either. But the lights were on in the basement, so I did not think a fuse was blown. But I went to check just in case and everything was good there. So I unplugged the line conditioner and plugged it into another outlet and everything worked again. What happenend, what did I do? I did just upgraded my reciever to a HK 525. I have yet to inspect the outlet up close. But I hope I can avoid this in the future. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Last weekend I was able to pick a pair of RF7s, pair of RS7s, and one RC7. Let me tell you they absolutly rock. The store I bought them at is called Nebraska Furniture, it is a local store that carries mid to high end stuff, and they sale everything! Well that weekend Warren Buffet was having his annual Berkshirehathaway stockholders meeting. The Mart had a special going on that weekend, anyone with credentials to the meeting would recieve employee discounts on their purchases. My Uncle had sent me some credentials early in the week. Well I bought all the above for $2000. That is over 50% off. I am so happy:) But I do I have to wait for the center speaker, they were out of stock. The salesperson said it would be 2 weeks at the most till it arrived, I can not wait. As I was finihsing up with the salesperson, another guy was looking at klipsch. His salesperson was describing klipsch as the most detialed and accurate speaker. And yes I would agree. So I go these bad boys home and hooked up. AWESOME!!!! Two channel music comes alive. I am patiently waiting for the center to really watch some movies, b/c I know it will just be incredible. Another happy Klipsch owner...
