  1. rf3iicrazy: What operating system and which version of it are you using. If windows, which is more than likely what your running, do this: 1st. disable the instant messenger feature. 2nd. download spybot, execute the search and destroy program and you will more than likely be rid of those pesky little gremlins. Here's the site: http://spybot.eon.net.au/index.php?lang=en&page=download When your done with spybot, execute the uninstall feature and it will remove it's self completely and cleanly. No garbage will be left in the registry. It's a good clean program.
  2. Check this out Jgatty, hope it helps. http://dolby.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/dolby.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=135

  4. DAVE! Stop having screwing around and having fun on your vacation. I need the Cornwall Vault ASAP.
  5. Hey Good2: I have a few lumps on my head too. And the seller did send me some additional photos showing both speakers. Each of them looked equally clean. The photo's were a bit small, but were sufficient enough to show the overall exterior condition of each. These speakers were/are/and will be well cared for. The photo's show them to look alot better than my 67's at the time I purchased them. I labored a couple weekends on my 67's to get the veneer to were it is now, which is spectacular. So I'm not overly concerned about the condition of those custom puppies in RI. I am a bit nervous being that the seller has no feed back, but I've communicated with the guy and he APPEARS to be a good fellow. Anyway, I just want my new babies here with their new father. If I ever buy a new digital camera I'll take a few shots and post them. Take care, tah tah.
  6. Silver, here's a pair of 63's on ebay. They have the vertically oriented horn too. Pretty darn rare. The speakers are a little rough, but certainly nothing major or nothing that can't be fixed with a little sandpaper, and boiled lynseed oil. Not bad for a pair of 40 year old speakers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3037977359&category=14993
  7. Hi Ho Silver!! Sorry, but I was the one that snagged those 68's on ebay. However, you can visit audiogon.com. I've seen Cornwalls pop-up with regularity on that site. I'm done buying speakers, and I will keep an eye and ear open for you. If something pops up, I will forward the info to you first. Good luck. PS. This is an excellent forum, with many, many knowledgeable Klipsch'ter's that will help you. You can not go wrong here. Use the search engine and you can find out anything about Klipsch plus a whole lot more. See ya!
  8. DVois, I will be taking over for Charles on the 68's in RI. If I'm successful on the bidding, Charles will purchase my Corn's in OO. However, I might be interested in trading for your 62's though. What finish are they? and What's their condition?
  9. Nude, as in Matthew McConaughey on the bongo's. Oooh Duuuude, play babaloo for me.
  10. Hi Devois, if you ever consider selling those 62's please give me a crack at them.
  11. I need to send the vault to Forward Air in Boston before the end of next week hopefully. I've got a buddy who's selling a pair of vintage 60's with vert horns ; apparently in very good to excellent condition. Gimme gimme gimme, mine mine mine as my brother-in-law (frzinvt) would say. He'll be getting my Corns in OO immediately after, so the vault will likely have a quick turn around. Anyway, is ther any chance that I could get my pitty paws on it this week? Pretty please.....
  12. OK Boy's, who's got the big bad Cornwall Vault. I have a goooood feeling I'mma gonna need it reeeeeal soooon. THANK YOU Email me with the info at duphas@valornet.com

  14. Does anyone know if the guts of a Heresy Signature Series are different for the Rest. I know the obvious difference seen from the out side, and found a few interesting tid-bits on the BB, but no one has mentioned anything about the inside of a Signature Series (Heresy or otherwise).
  15. Thank you all, I'm going to hook-up the 2 Vert. Cornwalls for my Center Channel. If I have trouble I'll contact Krell for the connection. Should be a snap though, thanks CB and thanks gary for the hook up info. Pure Heritage all around, it's the only way to fly.
  16. Thank you CB (Frzninvt)for helping me with my HTS. You've been and are tremendous wealth of information. Also, thank's gary for the info. I'll try and find that thread. In the mean time, if anyone knows the magic search-word, please let me know; just it case I don't find it.
  17. MDad, I like very much the idea of using a Cornwall Center. The only, one, thing I don't like is the placement. Where do I put the Cornwall. It's huge. Should I hang it off the wall behind the TV? I have the ceiling height, but don't know how to do this and still make the Den look attractive. My Family Room television is a big mother 60" XBR. The Khorns (which are no small fry) are approx. 8ft. from either side of the TV. The velodyne is sandwiched between the TV and my Left Khorn, as is my Electronics Rack. Is it kosher to put the Cornwall on the right side, between the TV and the khorn? Won't that type of arrangment takeaway or hurt Cornwall's effect as a Center Channel? For appearance and sound quality I think the only logical place to locate the Center Channel is in front of the TV. From either above or below. But How can I do that with a Big Asss Cornwall. That's kinda why I was considering one of todays new fangeled (contemporary) Centers. OK, I did and did'nt want to mention my considerations, but here it is: I read about some of the KEF stuff. I even considered a McIntosh LS350. But I just don't think either of these centers can compliment my system's sound quality like a Cornwall. Another question, is it possible to have 2 Center Channels, side-by-side. I'm thinking Corn on the wall. If so, how do I hook'em up. I think the processor supports only one.
  18. I'm looking to purchase a damn good center channel to go with a Krell HTS system. It's my understanding that the Center Channel is one of the most important commponents since it delivers approx. 2/3 of the sound. All my sound is currently being delivered through Klipsch Heritage, with the exception of a Velodyne Sub. If a current deal goes through, I hope to have some OW Heresy's for my Mid-Surrounds. Would using a Single Cornwall for a Front Center and another for a Rear Effects be a good idea? Or should I go with one todays - specifically designed Center Channels? I just don't know. Your own origional opinions based on what you've listened to are greatly desired. Please throw your Center Channel suggestions and opinions at me. All are welcome. Thank you, thank you very much....ala Elvis
  19. Thanks BK, but I not crazy about any of the ones on ebay right now. I'm looking for some real nice ones with risers and hopefully stands. I'll continue to hold out. Where's my mail! DaddyDee! I check my folder, but nothing there, and I have not received any email from you. Whaaaaats Uuup!!!!! See ya guys, and thanks for the response.
  20. Hi Amonteiro, The price of the Panasonics are not that high, and based on some recent research on the subject of DVD players, I found a couple of articles that praised the Panasonic RG 82 model, which can be purchased (if you can find one, they were recently discontinued) for around $180. The articles mentioned that it is the same (identical) player as the Denon DVD 1600, which Denon sells for a couple hundred dollars more. If the articles are true, and panasonic has disconinued the RG 82, I would assume that the Denon DVD1600 will soon be disconinued also. See ya!
  21. If anyone hear's of some Heresy's in Walnut for sale, please let me know. Perferably in very good condition or better. Thanks...
