Hi all, Clearing out some things. I have a pair of k-400 metal horns in good shape from 1967 khorns. $150 for the pair. Boxed and ready to go. Ships from 77063 Shipping will probably be in the $25 range to the lower 48. I have a pair of Atlas Sound PD-5VH midrange drivers that are replacement drivers for the k55v or k55x. From what I understand the klipsch k-55v and x were actually made by Atlas. Brand new, never used, gray just like the original k55v. New list is $149.00 a piece, cheapest price I could find on the net was about $120 a piece. $175 for the pair plus shipping from 77063 seems fair. Shipping should be less than $20 to the lower 48. Hi All, I have a little Hk tube intergrated that I really enjoy. It has 4 el84s and uses 12au7 and 12ax7 tubes with a tube rectifier. It is the "trio" model is what it is called - probably from the 60's. It has a phono section which is where I am having the problems and where I could use your input. With or without having anything connected to the phono section, it will have a load "motorboat" type sound to it. It is consistent in that it does it everytime. I have switched out the 12au7 and the 12ax7 tubes and it still remains, so I don't think it is the tubes. It only has this problem when phono is selected and everything else on the amp works great. The switches have been cleaned and that did not seem to affect the noise one way or the other. Any help would be appreciated. Hey Guys This is a little off-topic, but you can save some money on your subscription by purchasing it through one of the vendors on ebay. I was able to get a three year subscription for about $15 bucks total. The best renewal rate Stereophile would give was about $12 a year. Just did a search for "Stereophile subscription" and a couple different vendors came up. Haven't had any trouble with the subscription either - just like clockwork. Selling two (2) Transcedent Sound SE-OTL's and a Transcendent Sound Grounded Grid Linestage Preamp. The preamp was factory assembled and includes the factory 24 step attenuator. The amps are the stereo version that are bridgable externally to four watts per side. Everything necessary to bridge them is included and I will ship them ready to go in bridged mode if requested. The kit price on each amp is $829 (or $1658), the kit pice on the preamp is $499, plus about $119 for the attenuator. All of it is in perfect cosmetic and operational condition. They sound beautiful, with no hum or noise whatsoever. They are a few years old and have been babied. I would like to sell it together for $2000, but will consider separating. Mike, If you like the Denon's - you might want to consider the Denon 2200 also. It reportedly has the same video circuitry as the 2900, but the 2900 is supposed to have a better audio circuitry. The Denon 2200 plays SACD and DVD-A very well, but I think it does very well on regular cds. The price of the 2200 is usually about 1/2 or less of the 2900 on the used market. Good luck, Kevin

I have a pair of ALK's universal A Crossovers for sale. About a year old, perfect condition. These are the ones with the Hovland, Harmony and Solen Capacitors. Hey guys, I have a Denon Drm-22 three head cassette Deck in great shape cosmetically and operationally- just don't use it anymore. I would imagine it is mid eighties, silver faced, faux rosewood sides. Really nice looking and sounding unit. Just pay the shipping from Houston and its yours. Probably $15-20 at the most. I don't have anyway to test them but they seem to be in pretty good shape as well Again - no resellers please. These are original black and have their original badges. These have the bolt on adaptor for the k55m or k55v. One has about a 2" crack on the underside bottom lip that does not show through (I think it was dropped/dinged by a prior owner) and the other is fine. Sound wise, they are great. I bought them to modify the klipschorns, but couldn't bring myself to cutting on the khorns. Asking $100 for the pair with the adaptors, plus shipping from 77063 (Houston) Drop me a pm if interested. Good luck with these. If done correctly they can look very very nice. Maybe try hand sanding them with 220 or finer grain and then put a few coats of linseed oil on them. I have a pair that have/had the same issues and the oil really made them look great. Kevin
